Sporting Gijon, currently in the La Liga, officially announced that the team has loaned Alaves defender Saul Garcia.

After agreeing to join, Garcia will play for Sporting Gijon on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old Garcia comes from the youth training of Racing Santander and he has also played for Deportivo, Tenerife, Girona, Mallorca and Numancia.

Garcia joined Alaves from Deportivo last summer, and he was soon loaned to Vallecano.

As a left-back, he played 17 times for Vallecano in the Second Division last season, and he also played 4 times in the Copa del Rey.
